The new (compulsory) chic!

Updated: Jun 23, 2020

Charles Darwin already said "It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent; it is the one most adaptable to change", and the Covid-19 reality we find ourselves in, clearly demonstrates the human capacity to follow change and adapt.

All over the world, schools, businesses, governments, etc had to accommodate the changes and repercussions of the pandemic.

It was no different with Zoya Fashion House (ZFH), a small atelier based from Dubai dedicated to bespoke fashion design.

I had already been supporting the business for a few months now and so it was very natural to continue to do so; especially now that the founder and designer was indeterminately bound to the frontiers of Portugal.

From procuring the right fabrics - light in feel, breathable and wearable during the summer months ahead; to testing different models of face covers; photographing and endless FaceTime and zoom calls at crazy hours - "Breathe by Zoya" came to life.

ZFH presents a range for all the family with two different models of face covers that may or not come with a pouch, allowing to safely keep it, and avoid just dropping it recklessly anywhere. And for the most fashion conscious gals, you'll find some options with pearls and laces.

I must say for myself, how unthinkable was outing in a face mask; but truth is they are here to stay. I believe for long face covers will be the accessory no one will ever want to leave behind. I know I don't! They are now integral part of the "new" social etiquette.

The compulsory became the new chic!

If you haven't yet made space in your drawers for your face covers, I suggest you do so!

SHE,

""Breathe by Zoya"
